Terms of Use

This is a plain-language summary written for small food businesses and their customers. It is not legal advice.
The service
directORDR lets merchants publish an online menu, receive orders and manage them with their staff. directORDR is a software tool. We are not the seller of the food and we do not deliver orders.
For customers
- Your order is a request to the merchant. The merchant may accept, reject or cancel it.
- Prices, availability, delivery areas, fees and preparation times are set by the merchant.
- Payment is made directly to the merchant. directORDR does not handle refunds; contact the store.
- Please enter accurate contact details and do not place fake or abusive orders.
For merchants
- You are responsible for your menu, prices, food quality, food safety, permits, taxes, delivery and customer service.
- You are responsible for the payment details you show customers and for confirming payments you receive.
- Use customer information only to fulfil their orders, and keep your staff accounts secure.
- Only invite staff you trust, and remove access when someone leaves.
Subscription
New stores start with a free trial. After the trial, a monthly subscription paid to directORDR is needed to keep online ordering open. If the subscription lapses, your storefront pauses but your data is kept so you can resume.
Acceptable use
Do not use directORDR for illegal goods, fraud, spam, or to interfere with the service. We may limit or suspend accounts or stores that do.
Availability
We work to keep directORDR running reliably, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, directORDR is not responsible for losses caused by outages, merchant actions, or disputes between customers and merchants.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: contact directORDR.
